Alert Emergency Equipment Group, Inc. has an immediate opening for an Operations Manager. The position requires previous experience in law enforcement and or fire fighting.

Primary Accountabilities/Purpose:
Build, improve and maintain relationships with clients and employees, develop staff, and coordinate needed support services to effectively run the portfolio and meet or exceed financial and operational goals of the assigned account(s). Individuals performance will be evaluated based on, but not limited to, achieving financial goals, developing staff and on providing quality customer service.

Essential Functions:
- Supervise day-to-day operations of the account to include
- Staff Management
- Communicate staffing needs via Requisition Form; assist recruiters in identifying, interviewing and hiring quality candidates.
- Develop staff in both technical and professional skills through performance management (coaching, counseling, disciplining, ALLSTAR training, annual formal performance evaluations, recognition, etc.).
- Assure that employee grievances are heard and resolved (with help from appropriate Support employees, as required) and that personnel records are updated and accurate (Change of Status forms, rosters, etc.).
- Assure communication of policies and company announcements..
- Provides the basis of a great place to work by treating staff with respect.

Enforcement of Contract Standards:
- Meet all contractual scheduled hours with a minimum of unbilled overtime.
- Take a proactive role in communicating with the client and meeting his needs; meet with regularly, listen to issues, provide product knowledge, technical expertise and solutions. Ensure complete customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:
- BA or BS + 2 years fire fighter or law enforcement experience.
- Including 1 year in an operations management role
- Including minimum 2 years supervisory experience

Additional Requirements:
- Computer literate (Microsoft Word, Excel, e-mail, internet skills)
- Reliable transportation to get to work site / valid US driver's license
- Financial / mathematical aptitude
- Good-to-excellent verbal and written skills
- Well motivated, able to work well both independently and part of a team
